Fall Bass
The Chesapeake Bay Fishing cranks up a notch in the Fall and our Chesapeake Bay Charter Fishing customers welcome the changing of the seasons.
As air and water temps cool down, bait fish begin to congregate and move to deeper water and hungry striped bass, blues and perch are not far behind. We typically troll at this time of year but it is not uncommon to have the opportunity to pitch a jig out on light tackle when the fish get stacked up on bait.
Many people would argue that the Chesapeake Bay Fall rockfish season is the best time of year to book a Chesapeake Bay Charter and I would have to agree.
We will operate our Chesapeake Beach charter from Herrington Harbor ( near Chesapeake Beach and Deale, MD) until Nov 8, then from Solomon’s, Md until the seasons end on December 15.
